Hi,
I'm trying to fix this guys Vaio laptop and I've already updated the "Vaio Power Management", I've replaced the inverter and I've also tested it with another screen. Still the same problem. Now here's the funny thing.. When I plug in an external monitor via VGA the monitor doesn't have the "dim" problem, but the laptop still does. Now when Windows 7 is loading or if I enter the bios the screen is not darkened/dim, but as soon as it loads Windows it gets dim. So that leaves me with a software issue? But what..? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Hi,
Using Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 on Dell XPS 8700, Intel i7-4770 cpu 3.4GHz
Received message: Windows cannot currently check for updates ... service is not running ... may need to restart
Restarting did not help. Services indicates that Windows Update was started and so was Remote Procedure Call (RPC). Since the last time I used Update, I have not added, altered, or removed any hardware.
Searching the 'net shows me that this problem is not uncommon and that there doesn't seem to be a "one-size-fits-all" solution.
Can anyone help me out with this?
Please help.

Hello,
I am hoping for some assistance. I have both PHPlist and two sites up and running quite well. However, my PHPlist activities are listed under a domain name that is different from my two other domains.
I have added the massmailer module, but am not sure how to do the integration. Should I move PHPlist to each server where my sites are located or is there a better way of doing this? Any pointers or explainer videos would be great. I tried searching, but I keep getting no matches no matter what I try. Please help me out.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
